favourite islands in 2016
Seychelles has secured a place amongst TOP 10
favorite islands in the world, courtesy of International Islands Tourism EXPO
held in China.
The Seychelles are definitely one
of the world’s most beautiful tropical Islands known for its honeymooners’
haven and aquatic playground with inspiring shorelines. The archipelago
consists of 115 Islands spread over 1.3 million km² of the western Indian
Ocean, northeast of Madagascar, with a total land area of 444
km², making the Island nation just about the size of Andorra, or 2.5 times
the size of Washington, DC.
No doubt, the island earned itself a winner among
best in the world. As one of important events of 2016, IITE conference offered
the platform for all the related organizations and companies in the industry to
discuss the cooperation opportunities and bring the buyers and travelers to the
exhibitors.
After
G20 Summit in early September, Zhejiang Province of China brought focus again
to the 2016 International Islands Tourism EXPO, which happened from
21st September to 24th September in Zhoushan archipelago in Zhejiang Province
in China. The Seychelles Tourism Board together with its tourism private trade
partners Constance hotel, Landay International Travel and Yetravel attended the
first edition of International Islands Tourism EXPO last week in Zhoushan
Archipelago.
More
than 200 exhibitors attended this EXPO in Zhoushan, including Seychelles,
Greece, Australia, Tango, Thailand, USA (Hawaii & Guam), La Reunion,
Hainan Airlines, Ctrip, Tuniu etc. 350 VIP guests of 2016 International

visited Seychelles booth during the EXPO.
Not only tourism and vacation
packages but also Eco-tourism information such as the “Seychelles Sustainable
